Dr Liesl Page-Shipp has over 20 year’s experience in HIV, TB and drug- resistant TB covering clinical care, programme management and evaluation and research. She is committed to quality patient care in the context of improving public health through evaluation and operational research. Previous work experience includes the mining and public health sectors and three years as an independent consultant. She has spent the last 8 years in the NGO environment and is currently Director of the TB Programmes and Correctional Services Unit at The Aurum Institute. In this capacity; she is the PI of the 5 year PEPFAR CDC grant for Comprehensive TB and HIV care in Correctional Services and oversees two Global Fund grants in correctional services and peri-mine communities.
