Otto Nzapfurundi Chabikuli is a Family Physician and Health Systems and Policy Analyst with experience in clinical, teaching, research and management in the public, private and non-governmental health sectors. He is currently the FHI 360 (Family Health International) Regional Director for East and Southern Africa, providing leadership to a team of seasoned professionals that implement FHI 360 public health programs including support to HIV programs in 17 host countries in the region. Dr Chabikuli is also Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy Sciences, College of Pharmacy of Howard University as well as honorary lecturer at Medunsa and Pretoria University Departments of Family Medicine. Before joining FHI 360, he served as Associate Professor in Family Medicine at the University of Pretoria. Prior to that, he was Director of the Center for Health Policy (CHP), School of Public Health, at Wits University. He has a medical specialty in Family Medicine and MSc in Health System Management.
